Cards are printed, cut, and addressed by hand at a desk in Pittsburgh. Messages are written, not typed.
Stamped and dropped at the post office within 5–7 business days. After that it's the USPS's problem, usually 3–5 days.
Solar Grove Prints is a one-person operation making botanical postcards out of Pittsburgh. Every order is printed, cut, written, and stamped by the same person.
The drawings lean green — plants, overgrowth, the odd bit of circuitry tangled up in a leaf. They're meant to be mailed, not filed away.
Orders are small on purpose. If something takes an extra day, you'll hear about it directly.
Cards and sets ship within 5–7 business days of your order. Everything goes out via USPS from Pittsburgh, PA.
Delivery usually takes another 3–5 business days within the US. Club boxes ship during the first week of each month. We currently ship within the United States only.
Shipping is included in every price listed. There are no added fees at checkout.
If we can't make that window, we'll email you on or before the ship date with a new one. You can wait for it or cancel for a full refund — your call. Refunds go out within 7 working days.
Arrived damaged, wet, or just wrong? Email us within 30 days and we'll replace it free. No photo needed. One replacement per order.
Never turned up at all, 21 or more days after we mailed it? Tell us and take your pick: a replacement or a full refund.
Typo in the recipient's address? We'll reprint and remail at half price. Not free, because the first one really did get printed and mailed.
Unopened card sets can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Return shipping is on you unless the mistake was ours.
Cards mailed directly to a recipient with a custom handwritten message can't be returned once written, but if something went wrong we'll make it right. If a club box arrives damaged, we replace the damaged pieces with your next month's shipment.
Club subscriptions can be cancelled any time and take effect before the next billing date. Cancelling stops future charges — it doesn't refund the month you've already paid for, and you'll still get that box. Refunds go to the original payment method within 7 working days.
We collect only what's needed to fill your order: your name, email, shipping address, and — if you're sending a card to someone else — that person's name and address.
Recipient addresses are used once, to mail your card, and are not added to any list. We delete them within 90 days. We don't sell or share customer information with anyone.
We keep a copy of the message we write on each card, filed with its order, for 12 months — so we can settle a dispute or reprint a card if we need to. After that it's deleted.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Email us if you'd like your information deleted.
Prices are in US dollars and include shipping. Orders are charged at checkout. Club memberships bill $14 monthly on the date you joined until you cancel. Cancel by email or the link in your confirmation — it's meant to be as easy as joining. Cancelling stops future charges but doesn't refund the current month.
All artwork is original and remains the property of Solar Grove Prints. Cards are for personal use; please don't resell or reproduce them commercially.
We reserve the right to decline any custom message that is harassing, threatening, obscene, or unlawful, and will refund the order in full if we do. You're responsible for what your message says, and for having a legitimate reason to be contacting the person you're sending it to. We keep a copy of every message we write for 12 months.
Email is the fastest way to reach us. One person reads it, so give it a few days.
